It keeps creeping
Into the cracks of my mind.
It is the eye of the storm,
Calm and gentle
But bringing promises of destruction.
The more I try to shrug it off,
To think no more about it

written five years ago. my writing style has definitely changed, i think i wrote a lot more stiff & narrow back then. felt like uploading a deviation that doesn't revolve around a muse of some sort.
i went to a poetry slam heat tonight, & it increased my adoration of the spoken word, so i promise i'll write something half-decent someday soon.
